Establishes measures to support and streamline corporate restructuring processes and payment arrangements, transposes Directive (EU) 2019/1023 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 20, 2019, and amends the Insolvency and Corporate Recovery Code, the Commercial Companies Code, the Commercial Register Code and related legislation.
The present law also proceeds:
a) Amendment to the Insolvency and Company Reorganization Code, approved in annex to Decree-Law no. 53/2004, of March 18;
b) Amendment to the Portuguese Companies Code, approved by Decree-Law 262/86, of September 2;
c) Amendment to Decree-Law 47/2019, of April 11, which creates the early warning mechanism for companies' economic and financial situation;
d) The amendment to the Statute of the Judicial Administrator, approved by Law No. 22/2013, of February 26, as amended by Law No. 17/2017, of May 16, and by Decree-Law No. 52/2019, of April 17;
e) Alteration to the Procedural Costs Regulation, approved by Decree-Law no. 34/2008, February 26;
f) Amendment to the Commercial Registry Code, approved by Decree-Law no. 403/86, of December 3.
