The Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados (Order of Certified Accountants) and the Estrutura de Missão Recuperar Portugal (entity responsible for the technical coordination and management coordination of the execution of the Recovery and Resilience Plan - PRR), signed last December 6 a cooperation protocol with the aim of creating a pool of certified accountants, present throughout the national territory, with the technical skills required for the exercise of functions to control the execution of investments contracted under the PRR between Recuperar Portugal and the respective direct beneficiaries and/or intermediary beneficiaries.
In this sense, all interested certified accountants are informed that they can apply for the selection process until January 19, via CC Folder or via e-mail
(geral@occ.pt). To do so, they should send a message with their full name, member number and curriculum vitae, expressly stating their intention to belong to the certified accountants exchange under the protocol signed by the OCC and the Recuperar Portugal Mission Structure.
The certified accountants who will be part of the aforementioned exchange must be qualified to carry out, among other actions, the execution of the investments to which they are allocated:
- Management checks;
- Supervisory actions regarding the internal management and control system of the RRP implemented and developed by the intermediate beneficiaries; and
- Other specific control actions, where additional assurance is sought on whether investments are being made in accordance with the applicable rules, in particular regarding the prevention, detection and correction of fraud, corruption and conflict of interest, as well as the absence of double funding.
To evaluate the required skills, all eligible candidates will be assessed through an exhaustive technical knowledge test, to be held on January 22, at locations to be announced closer to the test date.
If necessary, candidates may also be subject to technical and theoretical knowledge interviews.
