March 31st - CLAIM OF (SOME) BILLS
Until March 15, the amounts of deductions to the collection of expenses proven by invoice and other documents will be available on the Finance Portal. The information will be visible on each taxpayer's personal page. In addition to invoiced expenses, it will be possible to see other deductible expenses in IRS made in entities that do not need to issue invoices: public school tuition fees, moderator fees, mortgage interest or house rents. The amounts disclosed will appear pre-filled in the tax returns. The amounts related to health insurance will also be identified.
From March 15 to 31 you can complain if you think that the information provided by the tax authorities is not correct. This only applies to invoices related to deductions from the general family expenses or VAT deduction. It is also in this period that, from a list of entities available on the Finance Portal, you can choose to whom you want to consign the IRS or VAT.
In previous years, refunds have usually occurred two to three weeks after submitting the declaration. You should check the Tax Portal to see if the NIB is correct and report any changes.
